Run the drill. Coach the room.
Shark Bait is a free practice timer built for the wrestling room. Put the phone matside and it keeps the clock, tracks who is rotating in, blows the whistle, and calls out stance-in-motion drills, so you can keep your eyes on the mat. It was made by a coach, for coaches who are tired of doing the bookkeeping in their heads.
Free. iPhone, iPad, and Android. No account, no ads, no tracking.

What it does
Automatic rotations
In a Shark Bait drill, one wrestler is the Shark Bait and partners take turns coming in as the Shark. The app tracks who is in, who is up next, and when everyone rotates. Groups of 3, 4, or 5.
Positions, in order
Turn on Neutral, Top, and Bottom, and the rotation moves to the next position after everyone has had a turn. It is a full match's worth of positions without a whiteboard.
Whistle or buzzer
Pick a whistle or an arena buzzer, plus vibration and an optional pop-up that tells the room exactly who rotates in.
A timer you can read from across the room
A big ring empties as time runs out and turns red for the last seconds. The screen stays awake for the whole drill, and the clock does not drift.
Stance in Motion
The app calls the shots out loud: single legs, doubles, high crotches, sprawls, down blocks, circles, hard snaps, fakes, and level changes. They come at random, with a shot-and-sprawl combo every 20 seconds, so wrestlers react instead of anticipate.
Your choice of voice
Choose the callout voice, speed, and pitch so the whole room can hear it. Save your favorite setups as presets; the app remembers your settings.
Two drills, one app
Set it up in seconds, put the phone matside, and let it run.
Works beyond wrestling
The rotations work just as well for live rounds in grappling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and MMA practice. Rounds run from seconds to 10 minutes, and work and rest intervals from 30 seconds to 5 minutes.
